This painting captures the view from near the base of the falls while standing on a small footbridge. A father and his children are enjoying the grassy strip near the water’s edge as the water cascades down the exposed rock face. The message in this painting at the base of the falls comes from Psalm 145 v 14 and it reads: The Lord upholds all those who fall.
