Karekare falls are delightful and easy to reach from the road. However, there is a secluded feel to the site. They are near the small west coast town of Karekare, just along from well-known Piha. The vegetation in this spot has a distinctly tropical feel to it with the palms making a statement. The message near the base of this painting comes from Psalm 55 v 22 and reads: He will never let the righteous fall.
