This bridge links the North Shore to Auckland and is the main link to the top of the North Island. In this painting we see the bridge as viewed from the suburb of Birkenhead looking towards the central city. There is a bible message in the painting which reads: Lead me in the way everlasting and it comes from Psalm 139 v 24
